How I Came to Faith
During the tragic Korean War (6.25 War), I served as a frontline combat soldier in the 7th Division. When North Korea invaded, South Korea was entirely unprepared for war, so anyone available was sent to the frontlines as a combat soldier. Without the ability to defend ourselves, we were quickly pushed back as far as Daegu. At that point, UN forces intervened, and the tide of the war turned northward. Our troops fought on the frontlines, while UN forces were stationed behind us as the second line of defense. Since the war had started with no preparation, more soldiers died of starvation than from bullets.
During a four-day advance without food, I collapsed in a field near Dongducheon, unable even to speak. UN forces, following behind, discovered me and transported me to the Army Hospital in Daegu, after which I was discharged from the military.
Upon returning to my hometown, I resumed farming as before. My father and I built a small hut in the field and lived there, working together. Grateful for having survived the frontlines, I began to offer prayers of thanks to God in heaven every night before going to bed. One night during prayer, a light brighter than the sun surrounded me. Startled, I ran into the house to wake my father, who also witnessed the light in amazement. This light appeared to me for three consecutive evenings, and through this experience, I came to faith. I pledged my faith to God by writing in my own blood: “I will believe in God and remain loyal to Him.”
The teachings I received from God and Jesus were primarily about the Book of Revelation. Today, Jesus has opened the sealed scroll of Revelation, fulfilling its prophecies. He gave me the opened book to consume and revealed the realities described in Revelation from chapter 1 to chapter 22 (Rev 22:8). After showing me all these things, Jesus commanded me to deliver this message to the churches (Rev 22:16). However, none of the churches understood the New Testament Revelation; they neither wanted to hear it nor believed it. However, I passionately proclaimed what I had seen and heard, fulfilling my mission. Revelation states that anyone who adds to or takes away from its words will not enter heaven but will be cursed (Rev 22:18-19). Have they not altered it? Indeed, many have. Jesus declared that those who believe in and fully understand this book of Revelation will be saved, while those who fail to believe and distort its contents will not be saved.
Guided by this great light, I remain steadfast in my vow to God, dedicating myself to spreading the prophecies and realities of Revelation. Until the day Revelation's fulfillment is complete, I will remain loyal to God. This is my pledged faith.
