How I Came to Faith During the tragic Korean War (6.25 War), I served as a frontline combat soldier in the 7th Division. When North Korea invaded, South Korea was entirely unprepared for war, so anyone available was sent to the frontlines as a combat soldier. Without the ability to defend ourselves, we were quickly pushed back as far as Daegu. At that point, UN forces intervened, and the tide of the war turned northward. Our troops fought on the frontlines, while UN forces were stationed behind us as the second line of defense.
