[2025-12-11] The Holy Spirit, the Advocate (see Jn 14:16–21, Rv 22)

The Holy Spirit, the Advocate (see Jn 14:16–21, Rv 22)

At his first coming, Jesus promised, “When I go, I will send another Advocate, the Spirit of truth” (Jn 14:16–17). And when the time comes, he said the Spirit would clearly explain what Jesus had spoken in figurative language and parables (Jn 16:25). Jesus also gave us the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. Today, at the time of the Second Coming, Jesus has sent the Advocate (the Holy Spirit of truth) just as he promised, and he has fulfilled the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. It is written that if anyone adds to and subtracts from this book, Revelation, they will not be able to enter heaven and will receive curses(plagues) (Rv 22:18–19). Have you added to or taken away from the Book of Revelation?

At the time of Jesus’ first coming, the Jews who did not understand the fulfillment of the Old Testament persecuted and cursed Jesus, calling him a heretic and a devil, even though he was the one who mastered the fulfillment of the Old Testament. However, the real heretics and the real devil at that time was not Jesus, but the shepherds of Jerusalem and their congregation. Likewise today, those who do not understand the Book of Revelation in the New Testament (both Protestants and Catholics) persecute Shincheonji—which understands the true meaning and actual fulfillment of Revelation—calling it heresy and the devil. For this reason, Shincheonji has repeatedly proposed holding an open, public test to determine who is truly heretical and who is not, but not a single person has responded so far. Why is no one willing to take the test? It seems to be because they are not confident they would win. And so, Shincheonji has prevailed with the truth(the revealed word). Even now, if Protestants and Catholics decide to hold a public examination on the Book of Revelation, Shincheonji is willing to participate. Through a public Bible test, let us find out who is the truth (orthodoxy) and who is in untruth (heresy).

In Rv 22, it is promised that anyone who adds to or subtracts from this book—Revelation—will not be able to enter heaven and will come under a curse. Shincheonji understands the true meaning and the actual realities of the prophecies in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. However, both Protestants and Catholics have added to and taken away from the Book of Revelation. So then, who will enter heaven and who will enter hell? Please answer.

Today, the prophecies of the New Testament Revelation have been fulfilled, and their realities (fulfillments) have appeared. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit of truth whom Jesus sent, dwells in and is with the promised pastor (see Jn 14:17, Rv 10). And this promised pastor testifies clearly to the realities and the revealed words of the Book of Revelation—not in parables or hidden secrets (see Jn 16:25).

Comments

  1. Shincheonji has proposed, on multiple occasions, to hold an open Bible test before all people, based on the standard of Revelation. However, not one has responded to the challenge. #ShincheonjiChurch

The Prophecies and Physical Fulfillment of Revelation

The Prophecies and Physical Fulfillment of Revelation Although the book of Revelation was written approximately 2,000 years ago, no one in heaven or on earth knew its true meaning. Instead, the world has been filled with false shepherds who testify lies from their own imagination. Why has the true meaning of Revelation remained unknown? The reason is that God sealed the book with seven seals and kept it hidden. However, today, Jesus took the sealed book, opened all seven seals, and fulfilled all its prophecies. He then gave the opened book to one person (the promised shepherd) to eat (Revelation 10), showing him the fulfillment of its prophecies and commanding him to testify what he has seen and heard to the churches (Revelation 22:8, 16). As instructed, the shepherd who witnessed all the events recorded in Revelation is now proclaiming both the revealed word and the physical fulfillment that he saw and heard to the churches as stated in Revelation 10:11 "You must prophesy again a...

The Promised Pastor of the Old and New Testaments

The Promised Pastor of the Old and New Testaments   The promised pastor of the Old Testament was Jesus (Ez 3, Mt 15:24), and the promised pastor of the New Testament is New John (Rv 22:8, 16). God promised about them in advance and said to see and believe when they appeared as promised.  The promised pastor of the Old Testament received and ate the opened scroll in Ez 3 then went and preached it to the rebellious people, the Jews. The promised pastor of the New Testament received and ate the opened book in Rv 10, saw all of events of the entire book of Revelation (Rv 22:8), and went and preached it to the rebellious Spiritual Israel (Rv 22:16).  Revelation is the new covenant to be fulfilled today, and it says that if one adds to or subtracts from this, then he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, but will receive curses (plagues) (Rv 22:18-19). However, all of the pastors of the Protestant Church and their congregation members have added to and subtracted from Revelation....
