The baseball team “Headquarter,” representing Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (headed by Chairman Lee Man-hee), achieved a remarkable victory, taking first place in Division 2 at the 16th Korea Sports Association National Amateur Baseball Tournament.

The tournament, hosted and organized by the Korean Baseball Softball Association and supported by the Heongseong County Office and the Hoengseong County Sports Council (co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and the Korea Sports Association), was held from September 20 to 28 in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province.

Recognized as one of the nation’s best amateur recreational baseball events among recreational baseball and Baseball5 enthusiasts, the Korea Sports Association Tournament brought together more than 800 participants from over 30 regional teams across the country.

Headquarter advanced to the finals after defeating Seoul Blitz 11-2 in the quarterfinals and beating the Boseong Magic in the semifinal draw.

The championship game was intense from the start. Headquarter took an early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Although they conceded one run in the top of the second, narrowing the score to 2-1, they extended their lead with a three-run homer in the fourth, making it 5-1. Gongju City’s team pulled a two-run homer in the sixth inning, but Headquarter held their ground, securing a 5-3 victory.

Shincheonji’s baseball team, Headquarter, swept several honors during the tournament; including the Best Pitcher Award, Most Valuable Player Award, Best Manager Award, and the Meritorious Service Award.

Composed primarily of youth members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Headquarter team has steadily honed its skills through regular professional training sessions held twice a month. Their dedication has led to significant improvement in both gameplay and teamwork, yielding consistent results in Korea’s amateur sports scene.

Headquarter’s team manager Ahn Jun-gyeom expressed his pride, stating, “This victory was made possible through our players‘ strong spirit and flawless teamwork. We will continue to grow stronger and aim to represent Korea in international tournaments in the future.“

The Ministry of Sports in Shincheonji Church of Jesus promotes healthy and active lives of faith of its members through various sports initiatives. Through regular training and participation in nationwide amateur sporting events, the church fosters unity among the members while also contributing to positive exchange and goodwill to various communities and society as a whole.

The Prophecies and Physical Fulfillment of Revelation

The Prophecies and Physical Fulfillment of Revelation Although the book of Revelation was written approximately 2,000 years ago, no one in heaven or on earth knew its true meaning. Instead, the world has been filled with false shepherds who testify lies from their own imagination. Why has the true meaning of Revelation remained unknown? The reason is that God sealed the book with seven seals and kept it hidden. However, today, Jesus took the sealed book, opened all seven seals, and fulfilled all its prophecies. He then gave the opened book to one person (the promised shepherd) to eat (Revelation 10), showing him the fulfillment of its prophecies and commanding him to testify what he has seen and heard to the churches (Revelation 22:8, 16). As instructed, the shepherd who witnessed all the events recorded in Revelation is now proclaiming both the revealed word and the physical fulfillment that he saw and heard to the churches as stated in Revelation 10:11 "You must prophesy again a...
