The Faith of the Old and New Religions

The Faith of the Old and New Religions

What is the difference between the faith “before Jesus’ first coming (old religion: Judaism)” and “at the time of Jesus’ first coming (new religion: Christianity)” after Jesus appeared? Also, what is the difference between the faith of the time of Jesus’ first coming (old religion: Christianity) and today, about 2,000 years after Jesus’ first coming (new religion: Shincheonji Church of Jesus, shortened to Shincheonji)?

Whenever there was corruption in the human world, God judged that era and opened a new era. He said that the time of the second coming would be like the days of Noah and Lot (Lk 17:26-30), so there will be judgment. This kind of content is recorded in the New Testament Revelation.

Just like the time of the first coming, the war of the second coming, which is the fulfillment of the New Testament Revelation, is not a physical war in the world, but a spiritual war. Therefore, even when the betrayers, the destroyers, and the saviors appeared at the time of the first coming, those who belonged to the flesh did not know about it. At the second coming, when Revelation of the New Testament is fulfilled, there will be betrayal, destruction, and salvation. And even when the betrayers, the destroyers, and the saviors appear, those who do not know the true meaning of Revelation of the New Testament will not know it even if they see the fulfilled realities. It was the same at the first coming and is the same at the second coming.

Today, those who have seen the reality (realities) of the New Testament Revelation and believers who understand the New Testament Revelation through them will know well the reality of Revelation’s fulfillment. And they will know well the reality of today’s world of faith.

The Israelites waited for the savior prophesied in the Old Testament. However, even when Jesus, the savior, came at the first coming, they did not recognize him and killed him. Today’s Christian believers are also waiting for the savior (the second coming of Jesus and the promised pastor). However, Jesus said, “will he find faith on the earth at the second coming?” (Lk 18:8). This implies that at the second coming, just as at the first coming, they will be persecuted as heretics. Believers must first know who they are in the Bible, and know the true meaning of the prophecy and its fulfillment in order to recognize the second coming of Jesus and the promised pastor sent by Jesus. If they are ignorant of the New Testament, they will persecute them again just as they did at the first coming, and events like Rv 11 will happen.

“Pastors and believers, do you understand the New Testament? If you do not understand it, you will persecute the promised pastor, the savior, just as you did at the first coming. At the first coming, Jesus was flesh like us, and at the second coming, the promised pastor sent by Jesus—who comes as spirit—is also a human being. At both the first coming and the second coming, the one who received and ate the open book (Ez 3, Rv 10) of the sealed Bible (the Old Testament prophecies and the New Testament prophecies) and came to fulfill the prophecies is the promised pastor. This promised pastor of the New Testament is testifying to the reality of the fulfillment of the New Testament Revelation today. Do you have faith in this?”

How are the beliefs of the old and new doctrines different? The believers of the Old Testament Judaism, the old religion at the time of the first coming, were bound by the Mosaic Law. Therefore, they waited for the savior prophesied in the Old Testament, but when Jesus, the savior, appeared at the first coming, they did not know the true meaning of the Old Testament and did not believe in Jesus and his testimony (testimony of the new religion). Today, the traditional churches, Protestantism and Catholicism (old religions), believe in the revealed word of the heavenly gospel of the Old Testament fulfillment, but they do not believe in the revealed word that Shincheonji Church of Jesus (new religion) that was created according to the New Testament testifies to. The reason is that the people of the old religion changed and were corrupted.

In terms of the difference in knowledge and faith, the era of the gospel of heaven of Jesus (Judaism) of the Old Testament fulfillment was better than the era of the Mosaic Law (Judaism). And the era of the revealed word of re-creation (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) of Revelation’s fulfillment today is better than the era of the gospel of heaven of Jesus. You will know this when you verify it.

Now is not the time of prophecy, but the era of reality of the fulfillment of the New Testament Revelation. The testimony that the new church Shincheonji, which appeared today according to the New Testament Revelation, testifies to is not a lie, but the truth. Since the prophecies have been fulfilled and their realities have appeared, how can there be false testimony? Let us confirm the prophecies and their fulfilled realities, believe them, and enter heaven. Amen.

The Blood and Flesh of the Lamb on Passover Night

The Blood and Flesh of the Lamb on Passover Night   On the Passover night during Moses' time, those who ate the flesh of the lamb and put its blood on their doorframes were saved. However, those who did not eat the flesh of the lamb and put its blood on their doorframes had angels enter their homes, killing the firstborn of both people and animals (Exodus 12). In his first coming, Jesus declared that he was the living bread that came down from heaven and that those who eat his flesh and drink his blood will have eternal life (John 6). This was likening himself to the Passover lamb, calling his words of life the blood and flesh of the lamb. Furthermore, on the Passover night, Jesus established the new covenant, saying, “I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes” (Luke 22:14-20). Do you understand the meaning of these words and the kingdom of God? Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord,” will be saved, but only those who do the will of the Fathe...
