God, Jesus, and the One Who Overcomes Promised in the New Testament (Rv 2-3, 12)
-May 9th, 2025-
As seen in the four gospels in the New Testament, Jesus said that he was granted authority over all nations (Jn 17:2). Jesus overcame the world (Jn 16:33). He promised in Revelation that he would give the authority to rule over all nations to him who overcomes (the one who overcomes) (Rv 2:26-27). Furthermore, he said in Rv 3 that he would let him who overcomes sit with him on his throne. Whom must he overcome? The opponent he must fight against and overcome in the New Covenant Revelation is the group of the dragon that has seven heads and ten horns (Rv 12).
The promised pastor in Shincheonji—the one who overcomes—saw all of the fulfilled realities of the entire New Covenant Revelation (Rv 1-22), and he fought and overcame the group of the dragon in Rv 12. Moreover, he established the 12 tribes promised in the New Covenant Revelation (Rv 7, 14) as a result of overcoming. Additionally, because he saw all the fulfilled realities of the entire book of Revelation (Rv 22:8), he can testify about all of it (Rv 22:16).
I fought as a front-line soldier in our country’s fratricidal tragedy that was the Korean War. After experiencing the cruel war, I fully believed that this tragedy of war should never be repeated. Therefore, I established the global peace organization HWPL and I traveled around the world 32 times for peace movements and the cessation of war in the world, meeting with leaders from all kinds of fields, such as top political leaders (five people including former and current presidents, prime ministers, and chief justices of supreme courts) and religious leaders, while doing so. I received their signed promises to work together for world peace and the cessation of war, and I still have those documents stored away. However, because of the global Covid-19 pandemic, which spread around the world, I temporarily suspended my overseas tours and peace activities.
I was unable to do much secular studies, and after fighting in the Korean War, I went back to only focusing on farm work on a farm in the countryside. I was so grateful for having miraculously survived on the front lines of the war that I would pray to God in heaven in a large field on my farm every night. Then one day, a great light visited me for three nights, and it was through this that I began my life of faith. After that, I was chosen by Jesus (Ref. Rv 1), he showed me the events of Revelation that he fulfilled, and had me experience them where they happened. What I saw were the fulfilled realities (actual entities) of the events of the entire book of Revelation. Thus, because I have seen all the actual entities of the fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation, I know all the fulfilled realities of the entire book of Revelation.
Although it has been around 2,000 years since the book of Revelation was written, there has not been a single person in the world who understood its meaning. Today, when I testified what I have seen and heard, the pastors and congregation members of the traditional churches called me a heretic, just like the pastors of Jerusalem did to Jesus at the time of his first coming. What I saw and heard are the actual entities that have been fulfilled just as if stamped with the prophecies of Revelation. I traveled the world 32 times to work for world peace and the cessation of war. On one hand, I testified the fulfilled realities, that is, the actual entities of Revelation that I saw, but only a few believed my testimony. Anyone who believes is headed to the kingdom of heaven, but anyone who does not is headed to hell (Ref. Rv 22:18-19).
Jesus, the Savior and the promised pastor of the Old Testament, overcame the world, and therefore received the authority to rule all nations (Ps 2:9, Mt 2:6, Jn 17:2). The promised pastor of the New Testament fought and overcame the group of the dragon (Rv 12), and therefore received the authority of the iron scepter with which to rule all nations (Rv 2:26-27). In addition, the promised pastor of the New Testament is the one who overcomes whom God, Jesus, and the New Testament promised (Ref. Rv 2-3).
Shincheonji, where the promised pastor of the New Testament—the one who overcomes—is, is where God and Jesus are present today. The 12 tribes of Shincheonji have been created as promised in the New Covenant Revelation without adding or subtracting. Verify this. Moreover, the promised pastor of Shincheonji saw and heard the fulfilled realities (the actual entities) of the prophecies across the book of Revelation firsthand at the location where they happened, and he is testifying this to the churches. Anyone who listens to this, understands it, and believes it will gain salvation (Ref. Rv 22:18-19).
It is written in Rv 22 that anyone who has added to or subtracted from the New Covenant Revelation cannot enter the kingdom of heaven but will be cursed (receive plagues). Catholic and Protestant Churches, have you not added to or subtracted from Revelation? From my perspective, both of them have added to and subtracted from all of Revelation. Therefore, they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Thus, they must be born again. Shincheonji has made numerous suggestions to the Catholic and Protestant Churches to take an open Bible exam based on Revelation before the public to verify who the cult is, but not a single person has accepted yet. Who has won? Just as Jesus promised, Shincheonji has won.
This powerful story reminds me that the independence we celebrate today came with unimaginable hardship. May we never forget the strength of those who lived through it. #ShincheonjiChurch
