Connection to the Real World: Revelation is Revealed.
Amid the rise of uncertainty about the present
and future of humanity triggered by the pandemic, COVID misinformation, including
the lack of trust in the medical field and misunderstanding in the religious world,
increases various concerns in daily life.
팬데믹으로 촉발된 인류의 현재와 미래에 대한 불확실성이 고조되는 가운데, 의료계에
대한 불신과 종교계의 오해를 비롯한 코로나 관련 잘못된 정보는 일상의 다양한 우려를 가중시키고 있다.
In the United States, rumors are
circulating that the COVID vaccine is the “mark of the beast.” This apocalyptic
biblical term is from Revelation 13 and is usually interpreted as being
attached to Satan and subsequently diverging from God. Additionally, people
regardless of religious background frequently encounter the question – does the
COVID-19 signify “the end of the earth?”
미국에서는 코로나 백신이 ‘짐승의 표’라는 소문이 돌고 있다. 이 종말에 관한 성경 용어는 요한계시록 13장에서 나온 것으로, 보통 사단에게 속하여 하나님과 멀어지는 것으로
해석된다. 또한 종교적 배경에 관계없이 사람들은 종종 “코로나19가 지구의 종말을 의미하는지”에 관한 질문에 직면한다.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of
the Tabernacle of the Testimony, announced that it will hold a round of weekly
seminars titled, “Testimony on Prophecy and Fulfillment of Revelation, God's
New Covenant” from October 18th to December 27th.

18일부터 12월 27일까지 매주 ‘하나님의 새 언약 계시록 예언과 성취증거’ 세미나를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
The seminars, broadcasting live on YouTube,
will provide an explanation of prophecies recorded from every chapter of
Revelation based on the 5W1H (who, what, when, where, why, how) method. The
lecturers include Chairman Lee Man-hee, who has said that he is a witness who
saw and heard all the events of the book physically fulfilled in the real world
(Revelation 22:16).
유튜브에서 생중계되는 세미나는 육하원칙에 입각하여 요한계시록 각 장에 기록된 예언을 풀이한다. 강사 중에는 이만희 총회장이 포함되어 있다. 이만희 총회장은 자신이
계시록의 모든 사건이 현실에서 이루어진 것을 보고 들은 증인이라고 말해왔다. (요한계시록 22:16)
Previously, the
SCJ Word Seminar held in August attracted 1,700 pastors and 28,000 people
globally. “The number of participants at this time reflects their interest and
effort to understand the words of Revelation consistently with the words of the
rest of the books of the Bible,” said Mr. Kim Shin-chang, General Director of
the International Mission Department of Shincheonji Church.
앞서 지난 8월에 열린
신천지 말씀세미나에는 전 세계적으로 1,700명의 목회자와 28,000명의
사람들이 참석했다. “이번 참여 숫자는 계시록의 말씀을 성경 전반의 말씀과 일관되게 이해하려는 목회자와
종교인들의 관심과 노력을 반영하는 것이다”라고 김신창 신천지 해외선교부장은 밝혔다.
The Shincheonji Church also added that the
book of Revelation is written in parables and has not been explained through the
real world, but instead only through human thoughts and non-biblical
speculative theories which have misguided believers and instigated social
disorder. The church also emphasizes that understanding the true meaning of the
book of Revelation is to see how the prophecies expressed in parables have been
physically fulfilled in the world today according to the Bible.
신천지교회는 요한계시록이 비유로 적힌 책이라 실상(현실)에 대해서는 다루지 않고 사람의 생각이나 성경에 대한 추측적 이론으로 성도들을 잘못 인도하며 사회 불안을 조장해왔다고
덧붙였다. 신천지교회는 또한 계시록의 참된 의미를 이해하는 것이 비유로 표현된 예언이 말씀대로 오늘날
세상에서 어떻게 실상으로 성취되었는지를 보아야 함을 강조했다.
