Regarding COVID-19 Testing of Chairman Lee, Man-hee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus

  • Mr. Lee, Man-hee, the Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, underwent the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) screening on the evening of 29 February at the HJM International Medical Center in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. On the morning of 2 March, the test result came out, in which he tested negative. 
  • The HJM International Medical Center is the government-designated medical facility for the COVID-19 screening. 
  • Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung stated on the afternoon of 2 March, “The test from the private institution came out to be negative, but we need to reconfirm the results,” and asked for further cooperation to collect an additional sample. 
  • Upon the request, Chairman Lee visited Gwacheon public health center on the evening of 2 March to re-do the testing for the virus.

En relación al resultado de la prueba de COVID-19 del líder de la asamblea, Man Hee Lee de Shincheonji Iglesia de Jesús


  • El Sr. Man Hee Lee, líder de la asamblea de Shincheonji la Iglesia de Jesús, tomó una prueba de COVID-19 la noche del 29 de febrero en el Centro Médico Internacional HJM en Gapyeong-gun, en la provincia de Gyeonggi.   • L’après-midi du 2 mars, M. Lee Jae-myeong, préfet de la province de Gyeonggi, a demandé le prélèvement d’un échantillon supplémentaire du président de Shincheonji en disant, « Bien qu’il ait été testé négatif d’après l’examen privé, il est nécessaire de vérifier le résultat de cet examen.»
