[2026-03-09] Why Were the Fulfilled Realities of Prophecy and the Promised Pastor Not Believed at the First and Second Coming of Jesus?
The Bible records in detail (as promises) the first coming and the second coming of Jesus. However, both at the time of the first coming and today at the time of the second coming, believers claimed with their lips that they believed, yet when the promises (prophecies) were fulfilled and their realities appeared, they neither recognized nor believed them. Why could they not believe? Both at the first coming and at the second coming, it was because they were ignorant of the promised word.
Through the prophets of the Old Testament, God promised that His Son would come as the Savior (see Isaiah chapters 7 and 9). At the first coming, God sent His Son Jesus, who fulfilled the Old Testament. However, the pastors of Jerusalem at that time were ignorant of the Old Testament and did not believe that it had been fulfilled or that Jesus was the Savior (the promised pastor). Instead, they killed him.
Today as well, Jesus has returned in spirit and has fulfilled the New Testament, Revelation through the promised pastor (Rv 1, Rv 2–3, Rv 10). He showed all that had been fulfilled to the promised pastor and commanded him to testify to the churches (Rv 22:8, 16). However, those who do not understand the true meaning of the New Testament Revelation could not believe that Revelation had been fulfilled. They even hated the promised pastor of Shincheonji who testifies to these things, calling him a heretic and wishing to kill him. This is because the spirit within them is different.
The Word is God (Jn 1:1). Therefore, when the reality appears according to God’s promised word, believers should see, hear, and gain understanding. Yet in every new era, even when the realities that appeared according to the promised word (prophecy) were seen, believers neither recognized nor believed them. Why is this so? Within God’s promised word lies the secret of the kingdom of heaven. There is an opposing devil in the world who interferes with God’s work. Therefore, as written in Matthew 13, the promised word was hidden in parables and figurative language so that the enemy would hear but not understand. For this reason, even when the realities of the promised word (prophecy) appeared, believers could neither recognize nor believe them.
Although about 2,000 years have passed since the New Testament, Revelation was written, no one had known its true meaning until today. Why is this so? It is because God held the book sealed with seven seals (Rv 5). But today, Jesus opened the sealed scroll, fulfilled the prophecy, and gave the opened book to the promised pastor to eat (Rv 10). He showed him the entire fulfillment of Revelation and explained it, commanding him to testify to the churches (Rv 22:8, 16). Only then did people come to know the true meaning of Revelation and its realities.
However, just as at the time of Jesus’ first coming, even today the false pastors born of the seed of the devil cannot believe, even when they hear and see these things. God reveals the secrets of the kingdom of heaven to His people, but He speaks in parables and figurative language so that the enemy will not understand and be healed (Mt 13:10–15).
The book of Revelation is a prophetic book concerning the secrets of heaven at the time of the second coming. Today, after the judgment of the betraying chosen people in Revelation chapter 6, the work of sealing of Revelation chapter 7 began, and the 12 tribes were created with those who were sealed. These sealed people fully understand the New Testament, Revelation. They are the new nation and new people of heaven who will be saved at the Lord’s return (Rv 7, Rv 14, Rv 21–22). This is why it is promised that those who add to or subtract from the book of Revelation cannot enter heaven and will receive a curse.
The promised pastor of Shincheonji, whom Catholics and Protestants call heretical, has seen and heard all the events of the entire book of Revelation (Rv 22:8, 16) and is the one who received and ate the opened scroll (Rv 10). Shincheonji believers hear the realities of Revelation and the revealed word testified by the promised pastor, understand them, and master them as the people of heaven. Therefore, the 12 tribes of Shincheonji who are sealed in Revelation chapter 7 will enter the promised kingdom of heaven, while those in Catholicism and Protestantism who are not sealed will not enter heaven and will fall like the people in Revelation chapter 6.
The New Testament, Revelation must not be added to or taken away from. Shincheonji has mastered the New Testament, Revelation, even its realities. This can be confirmed if one were to take a test based on the book of Revelation.
When Revelation is completely fulfilled, judgment will soon begin. At that time, people will go to one of two places: the lake of fire in hell or the paradise of heaven. When the judgment of Revelation comes, it will be of no use for those who neither listened to nor believed the testimony of Shincheonji and who added to or subtracted from Revelation to complain about the outcome of their judgment. They will know why they entered hell: because of the false pastors who taught lies and because they themselves believed those lies.
Even now, it is not too late. Let us listen to and understand the revealed word testified by Shincheonji, master the book of Revelation, and enter heaven together.
The 12 tribes of Shincheonji created according to the promise of the book of Revelation are the refuge in the last days. There is no other place of salvation outside of this. Those who enter into the word of Revelation and board the ark of Revelation will be saved.
