[0724] Shincheonji Taekwondo Team Achieves Complete Medal Sweep at International Competition Again… Elevating Global Standing

- Wins 4 gold, 7 silver, and 14 bronze medals at '2025 Park Chung-hee Cup International Open Taekwondo Championship'… All members medal

- Following Kim Un-yong Cup, achieves complete medal sweep at two consecutive competitions… Proves skills on world stage

The taekwondo representative team of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Lee Man-hee, hereinafter Shincheonji Church of Jesus) achieved a complete medal sweep at the “2025 Park Chung-hee Cup International Open Taekwondo Championship,” once again proving their skills on the international stage.

The “2025 Park Chung-hee Cup International Open Taekwondo Championship” was hosted by the Park Chung-hee Cup Organizing Committee and co-organized by the Gyeongbuk Taekwondo Association and Sangju City Taekwondo Association. Approximately 4,200 athletes from 18 countries worldwide, including Korea, the United States, and France, participated in fierce competition held at the Sangju Indoor Gymnasium from the 18th to the 21st. The competition consisted of various events including comprehensive performance, breaking, poomsae, kicking, and practical sparring, providing a comprehensive evaluation of participants' skills.

The Shincheonji taekwondo representative team competed in the official poomsae individual competition on the 19th with a total of 25 athletes. Despite a short preparation period, they demonstrated outstanding skills through focused training and persistent effort. As a result, they achieved the remarkable feat of all members winning medals, securing 4 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals.

This competition was particularly notable as an event that elevated Korea's cultural diplomatic status. The team's performance at this international competition held in Korea, the birthplace of taekwondo, left a strong impression on both domestic and international participants.

Gold medalist Lee Jun-wi shared his thoughts, saying, "Although we didn't have sufficient training time, I tried to focus as much as possible within the given time. I'm grateful that those efforts led to good results."

Team coach Kim Deok-hun commented, "As an international-scale competition, many excellent athletes from both domestic and overseas participated, creating high-level competition. I'm proud that our athletes performed to their full potential without wavering. Based on this competition, we will systematically prepare our training system and strategies so that we can participate next year with more participants and improved skills."

The Shincheonji taekwondo representative team has achieved outstanding results not only at this Park Chung-hee Cup but also at the “2025 Kim Un-yong Cup International Open Taekwondo Championship” held in Busan earlier this month, where all participants won medals. At that time, 12 athletes competed and all team members entered the medal rankings with 2 first places, 4 second places, and 5 third places, continuing their record of consecutive international competition awards.

Additionally, at the “2024 Mungyeong World Taekwondo Festival” held last year, 5 out of 18 competing athletes won medals. The team has been achieving excellent results in domestic and international competitions every year, establishing itself as a representative team that possesses both skill and stable team management.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus actively promotes talent development and healthy community activities not only in faith but also in various fields including sports, culture, and arts. The church plans to continue realizing healthy living and social contribution through sports.

The Prophecies and Physical Fulfillment of Revelation

The Prophecies and Physical Fulfillment of Revelation Although the book of Revelation was written approximately 2,000 years ago, no one in heaven or on earth knew its true meaning. Instead, the world has been filled with false shepherds who testify lies from their own imagination. Why has the true meaning of Revelation remained unknown? The reason is that God sealed the book with seven seals and kept it hidden. However, today, Jesus took the sealed book, opened all seven seals, and fulfilled all its prophecies. He then gave the opened book to one person (the promised shepherd) to eat (Revelation 10), showing him the fulfillment of its prophecies and commanding him to testify what he has seen and heard to the churches (Revelation 22:8, 16). As instructed, the shepherd who witnessed all the events recorded in Revelation is now proclaiming both the revealed word and the physical fulfillment that he saw and heard to the churches as stated in Revelation 10:11 "You must prophesy again a...
