Testimony of the Fulfillment of the New Testament Book of Revelation The Book of Revelation is a book written by John, a disciple of Jesus, on the island of Patmos about 2,000 years ago after receiving a revelation from Jesus. The Beginning and End of Revelation The Book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ, recorded by John, one of His disciples, while he was exiled on the island of Patmos. However, it is written that those who add to or subtract from this book of Revelation cannot enter heaven but receive curses (plagues). In Revelation 8 and 9, many of the chosen people who were judged in Revelation 6 and driven out to the gentiles died due to the war with the devil's soldiers. Jesus's Word for Us to Overcome Whom did Jesus tell to "overcome" in Rv 2-3? He wrote letters to the seven churches, the tabernacle of God’s chosen people, telling them to overcome the group of the dragon. Did they win or lose? They lost the battle and were ultimately judged and cast out. See Rv 13 and Mat 24. How do you think Jesus, who overcame the world (John 16:33), would feel if he saw this situation today? However, the promised pastor (ref. Rv 2-3, 12:5) has fought and overcome the group of the dragon, ① the dragon was cast out, and ② from this point, the kingdom of God and salvation have come (Rv 12). Yet, the war continues even now, just as we see. Believers cannot claim they haven't seen this.
