[2025-09-08] The Difference Between Religious Truth and Lies
— The Answer Is Heaven and Hell —
Religious true words (the Truth) come from God, while lies (falsehood) come from the devil (refer to the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil of the serpent and Eve).
It is written in the New Testament, Revelation that if one adds to or takes away from Revelation, they cannot enter heaven but will receive curses (plagues) (Rv 22:18–19). Yet Protestantism and Catholicism have added to and taken away from New Testament, Revelation, bearing false testimony. Nevertheless, they frequently labeled Shincheonji—which testifies to the Truth—as “heresy.” Even unbelievers did not speak such lies. Thus, Shincheonji proposed to Catholicism and Protestantism to hold a public exam of 100 questions based on Revelation (Rv 22), which says that if one adds to or takes away from it they cannot enter heaven but will receive curses. This exam would clearly distinguish between genuine heresy and genuine orthodoxy. Yet, to this day, not a single person has responded.
Shincheonji fully understands the true meaning of the prophecies and their physical fulfillment in the New Testament, Revelation, which cannot be added to or taken away from (Rv 22:18–19). So then, who is truly heretical, and who is truly orthodox? This is the same phenomenon as when, at Jesus’ first coming, the Jewish leaders called Jesus—who testified to the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies—a heretic.
The twelve tribes of Shincheonji, which are the tree of life that bears twelve kinds of fruit every month (Rv 22:1–2), testify to the book of Revelation (the true meaning of the prophecies and their physical fulfillment), which is the true food that grants eternal life. If anyone adds to or takes away from this, they cannot enter heaven. Catholic and Protestant pastors who called Shincheonji heretical have added to or taken away from Revelation, yet they claimed to have eternal life. But in reality, it is not eternal life—they face destruction. At the time of the fulfillment of Revelation, the Lord’s second coming, this world is truly like the days of Noah, the days of Lot, and the time of Jesus’ first coming. How could those who added to or took away from Revelation and told lies possibly enter heaven? Both Protestantism and Catholicism have added to or taken away from Revelation.
Just as the Jewish leaders at Jesus’ first coming, who thoroughly knew the Old Testament, called Jesus—who fulfilled it—a heretic, so today’s traditional church leaders call Shincheonji—which fully understands the New Testament, Revelation—heretical. But this was merely a lie to prevent their members from going to Shincheonji. Like the Pharisees at the first coming (Mt 23), today’s pastors block the way to heaven: they themselves do not go in, and they prevent those who want to go in from entering. Is this a small sin? Those who speak lies (falsehood) belong to the devil’s group (Ref. Jn 8:44). Their deeds make them appear as soldiers of the devil.
In the religious world, the difference between true words (the Truth) and lies (falsehood) is the difference between heaven and hell. Those who have added to or taken away from Revelation should confirm this within the New Testament, Revelation and repent. Shincheonji has overcome with the Truth of the New Testament (the revealed word). Verify this for yourself as well.
