[2026-01-29] Throughout the Ages, False Shepherds Have Persecuted the Promised Shepherd Sent by God
After Adam’s sin, in every age God has fulfilled what He promised, and in order to testify to it, He sent a promised shepherd. Yet each time, false shepherds persecuted the promised shepherd. This is evidence that this world is under the rule of the devil.
At Jesus’ first coming, and even today at the Lord’s second coming (Ref. Rv 11), the shepherds of the previous age persecuted and killed the promised shepherd sent by God. This shows that although they outwardly claim to “believe in God,” in reality the devil is with them. Jesus is the Son of God and the promised shepherd whom God sent as Savior. At the First Coming, the shepherds of Jerusalem persecuted Jesus, calling him the devil. Likewise today, the shepherds of traditional churches (Catholicism and Protestantism) persecute Shincheonji’s promised shepherd, calling him heretical. Catholicism and Protestantism, which have added to and taken away from the book of Revelation, the New Testament, are calling Shincheonji—which has mastered even the physical fulfillment of Revelation—heretical. They are like patients infected with heresy, as if possessed by a heretical spirit. The Christian world today is truly in utter confusion.
In order to determine who is heretical and who is orthodox, Shincheonji has repeatedly proposed to Catholicism and Protestantism that they hold an open examination consisting of 100 questions based on the New Testament, Revelation, yet not a single person has responded to this proposal so far. Revelation chapter 22 states that those who add to or take away from this book of Revelation will not enter heaven and will receive curses (plagues). Since all pastors in Catholicism and Protestantism have added to or taken away from Revelation, they are the true heretics and false shepherds. Therefore, they and the members of their congregations will not enter heaven. Repent and even now learn the revealed word of Revelation that Shincheonji proclaims, so that we may enter heaven together.
