It is written that if anyone adds to or takes away from the book of Revelation of the New Testament, then that person will not be able to enter heaven and will receive curses (plagues) (Rv 22:18–19).

Have the pastors, theology professors, and believers who have called Shincheonji a cult, not added to or taken away from the book of Revelation of the New Testament? They have all added to and taken away from it. However, Shincheonji not only masters the true meaning of Revelation (the prophecy), but also its fulfilled reality. If so, who then is truly the cult, the false pastor, and the false believer? This book of Revelation clearly records that those who add to or take away from it cannot enter heaven and will be cursed.

At the time of the First Coming long ago, the pastors of Jerusalem called Jesus—who was the promised shepherd of the Old Testament—a heretic. Likewise, today, the pastors of traditional churches (Protestantism and Catholicism) have again called Shincheonji’s twelve tribes, who are sealed according to the book of Revelation of the New Testament and who master even its fulfilment, a cult. These people seem to be afflicted with a “cult-accusation disease.” Therefore, in order to distinguish who is a cult and who is orthodox, Shincheonji has repeatedly proposed holding an open examination consisting of 100 questions based on the book of Revelation of the New Testament. But to this day, not a single person has responded. Judging according to the New Testament Scriptures, who then is orthodox? And who is the cult? Shincheonji, or Protestantism and Catholicism?

Is someone considered orthodox simply because they claim to be so, even if they are ignorant of the New Testament? And is someone considered a cult merely because others label them so, even if they master the New Testament? This runs contrary to the thinking of a true believer and to the thinking of God, and instead appears to be the ideology of false pastors and their god—the devil. Therefore, Protestantism and Catholicism, having committed the sin of adding to and taking away from the book of Revelation of the New Testament, will not enter heaven, but will end up in the lake of burning sulfur in hell. Shincheonji, however, is the true orthodox faith that masters even the fulfilled reality of the book of Revelation of the New Testament, and will enter heaven. Amen. This is testified in the New Testament Scriptures. At the time of the fulfilment of Revelation, the promised prophecies have all appeared as a reality. One must see this and believe, in order to receive salvation.
