Shincheonji Church of Jesus hereby clearly states that the remarks made by Democratic Party of Korea Assemblyman Song Young-gil during the New Media Grand Debate on the 21st, and subsequently reported by the press, claiming that "110,000 Shincheonji members joined during the 2021 People Power Party presidential primary," are entirely false.

The claim that this denomination collectively enrolled 110,000 responsible party members into the People Power Party in 2021, or that votes were concentrated on a specific candidate under the Chairman's instruction, is a clear falsehood with absolutely no objective basis.

This denomination has not interfered in the People Power Party's presidential candidate primary, nor has it issued any such instruction.

We express strong regret over the act of a public political figure spreading unverified false facts at an official debate venue and severely damaging the denomination's honor.

This denomination hereby states that it will hold strict civil and criminal legal responsibility against the act of continuing unconfirmed distorted claims for political gain amid the election situation.
