[2026-01-26] Global Peace and the End of War
We of Shincheonji (the Promised Pastor, the Messenger of Peace) have traveled around the world 32 times, proclaiming peace and the end of war for all humanity. This is a fact known to nations across the globe.
Countries that have experienced war have fallen into deep debt, and countless young lives have been lost. Why must such wars be fought? Through war, wealthy nations have grown even richer, while poor nations have fallen into even greater poverty. Why should we wage wars that take the precious lives of young people and plunge national finances into overwhelming debt?
I founded HWPL, an international civilian peace organization, and as a messenger of peace, I have traveled around the world 32 times advocating for global peace and the end of war. I met with presidents, chief justices, speakers of national assemblies, religious leaders, and heads of various organizations in many countries, receiving their promises to work together for the cessation of war and the realization of peace. At the Shincheonji Peace Training Center in Goseong, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, their photographs and handwritten pledges (signatures) are preserved.
I also went to Mindanao in the Philippines, where a 40-year religious conflict had claimed approximately 120,000 lives, and through peaceful mediation, achieved the end of war in just one day. Heaven knows it, and the earth knows it. Weak and small nations have long been sacrificed due to wars instigated by powerful countries. The only way for weak and small nations to survive is to establish peace without war.
Japan lost the Pacific War (part of World War II). After that, it refrained from engaging in war and instead focused on economic growth, becoming an economic powerhouse. If our country had not experienced war, it would have become an economic power much earlier than it did. For whom did we have to kill our own people? Did we have to wage a tragic fratricidal war to make wealthy nations even wealthier?
The ideology of Shincheonji is peace. I have traveled around the world 32 times proclaiming global peace and the end of war. And I am delivering the gospel of Revelation, which has been fulfilled according to the New Testament.
