Looking Back on the 40-Year History Since Shincheonji’s Founding

Forty years of Shincheonji’s history in the era of the New Covenant Revelation out of God’s work of restoration have now passed. Shincheonji is testifying the fulfilled realities all the way from the time of Adam to Revelation. Many pastors are preaching on the work of the Old and New Testaments to their congregations. However, Revelation, which says that anyone who adds to or subtracts from it cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, has been unknown to them, and they have added to and subtracted from it.

Believers have been waiting for the prophecies to be fulfilled and for their fulfilled realities to appear. Today, Jesus made his second coming and fulfilled almost all of the New Covenant Revelation, and the Shincheonji written about in Revelation 21 appeared. However, believers do not understand that this is what has been fulfilled according to the New Testament, and they make a habit of persecuting it, calling it a cult. This seems to have come from ignorance due to their corruption. An express train will keep going no matter how much a dog barks. At the time of Jesus’ first coming, dogs kept barking even as the express train moved forward. Today, in the time of the second coming, the dogs are just barking once again, though the express train continues on.

Just as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament at the time of the first coming, he is fulfilling the New Covenant Revelation today, at the time of the second coming. Yet, those ignorant of the New Testament are also focused on barking just like they did at the time of the first coming (Mt 23), calling this heresy. This is because of their ignorance of the Bible, and because they do not understand the sealing that takes place in Rv 7 after the judgment of the chosen people who betrayed that takes place in Rv 6. Nevertheless, it says that one cannot enter the kingdom of heaven and will be cursed unless he is harvested and sealed (Ref. Rv 22). Do you believe this? 

At the time of the first coming in the past, even though God’s Son Jesus came and testified the fulfillment of the Old Testament, the Jews at that time did not believe Jesus, who came as the Savior, or his testimony, and they persecuted him, calling him a heretic. Today, even though Jesus fulfilled the book of Revelation that he prophesied and testified this through the messenger who speaks on his behalf, Christians have also not believed, but persecuted. This is happening because the evil spirit has entered them, and it is this evil spirit who is persecuting. Church-goers are performing this kind of wicked act because their pastors have not taught them the word of promise properly. There is a saying that goes: “Hate the sin, not the sinner.” Jesus told us to forgive sins and to love even our enemies. Are you practicing this?

Today, it is by the grace of God that Shincheonji possesses the greatest truth in the whole world. However, those who do not recognize this persecute Shincheonji, calling it a cult. Therefore, I have suggested to the persecutors that we take a public Bible exam to verify who is orthodox and who is heretical, but not a single person has accepted. They have practiced their faith outside the Bible, while Shincheonji has practiced its faith inside the Bible. Thus, they have not accepted taking the test because even they know that Shincheonji would beat them on a Bible exam. Despite this, they call themselves orthodox and Shincheonji a cult as a way to hide their ignorance and sin. The revealed word that Shincheonji testifies is the real truth, and the real truth is the food of eternal life. Amen.
