[2026-03-12] The Appearance of Jesus at the Second Coming, What He Did, and the Promised Pastor Jesus at the Second Coming came as a spiritual being, holding the seven stars, which were a mystery (see Rv 1). Jesus appointed these seven stars as the seven messengers in Rv 2 and 3. The church where these seven messengers were (the seven golden lampstand churches, that is, the Tabernacle Temple) grew rapidly and prospered to the extent that it had about 80 branch churches nationwide(with approximately 8,000 members). At that time, the Nicolaitans entered the tabernacle of the seven messengers and caused them to eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. In doing so, they interfered with the work of the seven messengers (the work of preparing the way for the Lord’s Second Coming) (Rv 2–3).
