[Resolution] Rally to Denounce Religious Persecution  Today, we strongly denounce the biased administrative oppression against a religion committed by Gyeonggi-do government and Gyeonggi Tourism Organization in violation of Article 20 of the Constitution. Article 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea states that Korea shall be a democratic republic, that its sovereignty resides in the people, and that all state authority shall emanate from the people. Members of Shincheonji Church are citizens of the Republic of Korea.  When a politician sides with a certain religion to make decisions that divide the people and takes hardhanded measures that harass Shincheonji Church, committing religious persecution based on favoritism, we shall fight against it and stand up for our rights.
